My name is Hsin-Ju Lin, and you can also call me Sandy. With both the clinical and scientific research background, I am passionate about exerting my interdisciplinary knowledge into practical adoption, combining medicine and engineering.
I enjoy learning and embracing new ideas and knowledge, as well as taking advantures around the world. I like the quote by T.S. Eliot "We shall not cease from exploration, and the end of all our exploring will be to arrive where we started and know the place for the first time."

Taipower Opendata Hackathon 2016
We used the opendata provided by the government and Taiwan power company. Our main project was to analyze the electricity usage between different cities and time, in order to know how to save the energy in various places.
Intel® IoT Roadshow 2016
"Explore. Innovate. Create a New World." Our team proposed an idea of detecting the degree of pressure sores and bed sores attached to the bed for clinlal or home care, since it is one of the main and serious problem happened in bedsides.
Fishackthon 2016
This event was hold by American Institute in Taiwan, American innovation center, Fisheries Agency, Council of Argriculture and Microsoft. Our team made an Android App for fish slices recognition. Though we did not win the prize, we were selected into finalist competition and I gave a talk about our work.
Quadcopter Workshop
Having played with mini quadcpoter before, in this workshop, I had the opportunity to control the Phantom 4.
Robotcar Workshop
Using the easy-to-use kit with Arduino and Bluetooth module, we built a robotcar which could be controlled by app. It could pick up cups and go different directions.
3D Printer Assembly Workshop
Using Ardiuno board and its expansion board, I learned how to build a 3D printer from scratch. I am interested to build one on my own in the near future.
Webduino Workshop
Webduino is a board combining Web and Arduino. Using Javascript, we can easily make things, making the Internet of Things easier to get attained.
